This year, for the first time, NSW is holding state championships for players in three separate divisions. The divisions are for players

• below National Master (around 150 masterpoints),
• below Grand Master 
• Open.

You are invited to play in the qualifying sessions to be run by the Club on three successive Thursdays commencing March 12 at 1pm. It is a red point event, and the Club’s intention is to run three separate sections each week, depending on numbers, based on the divisions described above. Pairs qualify for the relevant divisions based on each player’s rank on January 1 this year.

The Club will be supporting this competition by nominating two pairs from each division to play in the metropolitan final. The nominations will be based on the results of the qualifying sessions.

This is the first opportunity for members with less than 150, or 1000 masterpoints to participate against peers in a state championship. Table money will be 4 PPV’s per member payable at the first session. Sign up on the booking sheet.
